Robinhood Plaza
Retail
This project involved a complete facade renovation to an existing group of buildings. The challenge was to provide a new image for a very dated center while having the stores remain open during construction.
The design made use of the existing structure for the main finish upgrade, but added highly detail elements of metal work, awning, a tower and a new canopy. The renovation was a great success giving the center a totally new upscale appearance.
Props must be given to the contractor as well for a fantastic job working around stores that were open during construction.

Westfield Plaza Bonita
Retail
Working under a tight scheule, a complex design and many tenant requirements, coordination between the team was key to meeting the design and construction goals.
The program involved combining retail stores anchored by Target on level 1 and a food court with a movie theater anchoring level 2. Working closely with the Westfield design team and a talented group of engineers and designers, the 375,000 SF structure completely changed the character of the mall. Clad in metal panels, plaster and glass, a new upscale aesthetic created the retail place to be for San Diego’s South Bay.
